Great and Small Forest School, Clitheroe is open 39 weeks of the year. We are closed two weeks over Christmas, bank holidays and one week at the end of August to allow our team and the woodland a well-deserved rest.

Funded places are available for the full or half day sessions – please ask for more information. Funded places will be spread to cover the 49 weeks that we are open in a way that is more affordable for parents. We also accept Tax free childcare and Student Childcare Grants. We do also offer limited term time only places for those working in education.

Uniquely, we also offer privately paying parents a ‘two week holiday’ when you will not be charged when on holiday and your child’s space is secure (at least 4 week notice is required).

We can offer one or two half day sessions for those children building up to full days though these would be charged at the full day rate to secure their place.

For funded places, the woodland care package and campfire cooked lunch/snacks bundle is charged extra
