Great and Small Forest Kindergarten is located in Clayton le Moors and is open 49 weeks of the year. We are closed two weeks over Christmas, bank holidays and one week at the end of August to allow our team well-deserved rest.

Below is a schedule of the fees for our Kindergarten. As always we strive for the best and I hope this is reflected in the price of our great value daycare.

To further help parents with childcare costs the 15 and 30 government-funded hours are also accepted. Please speak with a member of our management team to discuss options. Funded hours will be spread over the 49 weeks that we are open.

All children from age three to the term after their fifth birthday are eligible for 15 universal funded hours, some children are eligible for 30 extended funded hours. Some two year old children are also eligible for funded hours. To check your eligibility, go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

We can also accept childcare vouchers, Student Childcare Grants and tax free childcare schemes. Please speak with the manager if you wish to choose this method.

Funded hours are stretched across the 49 weeks that we are open. Some term time only places are available with priority given to those working in education. Please speak with us regarding this option.

A £25 registration fee is required to secure your child’s place. This is fully refunded once they are fully registered and have started their childcare with us. 

Please note that fees are correct as of April 24 and a sustainability charge applies to all funded places.
