Our parent and child sessions continue to prove very popular being a lovely, wholesome activity to do with your little one outside in the fresh air. Our woodlands are set up with attractive invitations to play that your child (and yourself) can choose to engage with or you may wish to spend your time exploring and connecting with nature.
We find that the parent and child sessions are a nice first step into Forest School; enjoying time together before your little one gets bigger and is ready to have their own adventures in the preschool sessions.
Although there is no minimum age as such, we advise that children are walking steadily and comfortably themselves as our woodland is not buggy friendly. Healthy snacks and warm drinks are provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear for all.
To retain the ambience of the sessions and enable good relationships and friendships to form, we limit the size of the groups so advance booking and payment is required to secure your place.
Please see our ticketing website for details of upcoming events.

Many learners do not thrive in a classroom environment, it can be over-stimulating, unengaging and too much to cope with. Learning in an outdoor environment is so beneficial for most people, younger and older. Our Nurture groups are aimed at learners of primary and secondary school age with special educational or additional needs and their supporting adults to visit our woodland on a Monday afternoon on a weekly term time basis to enjoy the benefits of being outside of four walls, in fresh air playing and exploring, taking part in hands on experiences, following their own interests, developing their own holistic skills and supporting by our experienced, friendly and nurturing team. The get the most out of these nurturing sessions, sessions are booked as a half term block.
